The long awaited update of the popular B-RAD select is finally here.
Probably our most important product of the last couple of years which brings us far ahead of our competition.
A 7.000 Nm tool has been added to the range and for now the smallest model will be the B-RAD SELECT BL 700.
With the B-RAD SELECT BL we will outclass all competitors on weight, speed, control and reliability.
But…What’s New?
As mentioned, the new design brings us way ahead of competition with significant improvements which are important to share with your customers and your sales team.
Here is an overview of what has changed:
Controls
- Bigger buttons for easier control of menu
- Clear indication of ft.lbs or Nm setting
- Illuminated red digits can be adjusted for brightness
- Possibility to set torque in 1-50 levels instead of torque settings
- Lock torque in one setting
- Low battery warning system
- Voltage level of battery can be seen on the SELECT display
Motor
- Brushless, higher Nm
- Runs a lot cooler because of brushless motor
- Much lower noise level: 65 dB instead of 80 dB
- Reaction arm back off after reaching set torque – never get stuck on a bolt
Gearbox
- New versions that are shorter in length, especially the 2-speeds are substantially shorter
- Lower weights
- New cast iron reaction arms are stronger and lighter
- Increased maximum output to 7.000 Nm with B-RAD select 7000 BL
